Join DCCs Enterprise IT Architecture & Solutions team as a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect, where youll lead the design, governance and evolution of our Microsoft cloud estate across Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric. Youll provide technical leadership, shape cloud strategy and ensure secure, scalable and compliant solutions that support DCCs internal business functions.

How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future.
• Lead the design, provisioning, configuration and governance of Azure and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring secure and scalable cloud solutions.
• Produce end-to-end solution designs that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture and future technology roadmaps.
• Define cloud platform standards, governance frameworks and operational controls across Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop automation and tooling using PowerShell and other scripting technologies to improve efficiency, governance and operational performance.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, delivery teams and third-party suppliers to deliver innovative cloud solutions and support strategic transformation initiatives.
What you need to bring:
• Proven experience designing, configuring and governing Azure and Microsoft 365 services within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong solution architecture and technical design expertise with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, identity management, security, compliance and cloud governance.
• Experience developing automation solutions using PowerShell, with knowledge of Python or C# being advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide technical leadership across complex cloud initiatives.

The steps to success

Step 1

Find and apply for a role

All vacancies are posted on our careers site on a page like this one, where you can apply online. You'll be asked to submit a short application form so we can find out more about you. Due to the high volume of applications, you'll only hear back from us if you've been successful.

Step 2

Chat with a recruiter

Once you pass the initial screening stage, one of our recruiters will be in touch to chat through the role and your experience. If all goes well, your application will be passed on to the hiring manager, who'll put together a shortlist for interview.

Step 3

Come for an interview

For most roles there'll be a two-stage interview process, which will include questions about your CV, competency and technical skills. For more senior positions there could be an additional interview stage. You may also be asked to give a presentation or complete a technical test, but we'll let you know in advance so you have plenty of time to prepare.

Step 4

Receive an offer

Once the interview process has been completed the successful candidate will receive an offer. Throughout the interview process the recruiter and hiring manager are happy to answer any questions you have. We want to make sure you have all the information you need to decide whether DCC and the role are right for you.

Do you offer flexible working/working from home?

We’re a hybrid team. We require all our people to work from a DCC office (we have locations in London and Manchester) at least 8 days per calendar month. We do however offer flexible working arrangements to support your individual needs and accommodate for any reasonable adjustments.
