Our values and behaviours

We’ve seen significant change in recent years. And not just for our customers. The DCC has evolved from a small start-up to a fully-fledged business, operating a secure network in 14 million homes with almost 24 million meters. As we’ve matured, we’ve been working hard to ensure that our culture remains focused on leadership, wellbeing and collaboration.

After months of research and feedback from our colleagues, we’ve developed a set of three core values (and associated behaviours) that guide us in how we act and in everything we do. They help us to work together consistently, and directly support our purpose: Making Britain more connected so we can all lead smarter, greener lives. They also set out what we expect from people who join us – that they share the same values and will positively contribute to shaping our culture as we move forward.
